I am ready for a changing of the season. To officially transfer from winter to spring. To have the temps stay pleasantly warm. To see the trees bursting forth with green leaves and flowers. To hear the chorus of birds and bees and insects coming alive.
The change of season is completely paralleling the spiritual lives of my husband and I. We have both been in a winter season spiritually. Now awaiting the promised thaw that proceeds times of cold wilderness in our lives.
Watching with eyes of faith to see things that have lain dormant in our lives blossom and grow for Him. Holding on and trusting in the only One that will never let go and never let us down. Listening in the stillness for the Voice that only comes there.
Change. Isn't that what happens as the seasons so seamlessly pass from one to another? Isn't that what God does as we go to a new place with Him?
